prep a week of GF dinners using your freezer
freezer-friendly prep guide with grocery list + a new high-protein recipe!
One of the most asked questions I get when I share recipes is “is this freezer-friendly?” so I know it’s something you are all looking for! It makes sense—meal prep can be even more useful when things can be stored for longer periods of time, so prepping recipes that are freezer-friendly is such a hack for busy people! So, I put together this freezer-friendly dinner guide which will give you a grocery list, prep guide, storage tips, and reheating instructions for 7 recipes that can live in the freezer.
You’ll notice about half the recipes are soup or stew-type meals. These are super easy to make ahead and reheat later! They’re also the perfect way to combine veggies, protein, and comfort into one meal AND are so perfect for the chilly weather we’re starting to get (at least here in Boston). The seven different freezer-friendly meals will yield up to 28 servings—feel free to do the prep in the way that works best for you. You could spend one day doing a mega meal prep and prepare all seven recipes, you could spread it out over a few different days, or you could choose to prep just one or two of the recipes just to get a little ahead.
This plan will be especially helpful if you’re having a busy week, have upcoming travel plans, have a baby on the way (or a friend expecting!), save this guide to use when you need it—or try it in the next few weeks for easy breezy meals during your winter arc.
I also have a NEW GF lasagna roll ups recipe in the plan for you, which I am so excited about! Below you’ll find the full grocery list (including a PDF download) and PDF guide for each of the recipes for a week of freezer friendly dinner prep 🫶
And if you missed it, I shared my grocery shopping template & plant tracker in this newsletter, so make sure you use that as well if you find it helpful! I’d love to hear any questions, thoughts, or comments you have through our chat! 🥰
