I’ve made so many bowls over the years, but I realized I was missing one featuring white fish—a heart healthy choice I love to keep in the mix—as the main protein. Today’s recipe is filling that need and hitting classic summer flavors.
One of my favorite ways to enjoy white fish like cod, haddock, or pollock is in the form of a fish taco, especially during the warmer months. But fish tacos can get messy real quick, so I turned them into bowls! A fun twist that also makes them perfect for a family-style dinner party situation: everyone can customize their bowl toppings as they please, and no risk of overstuffing and losing half the fillings with that first bite. And if fish isn’t your thing, I’ve got you covered with swap options!
