Today I’m introducing a brand new series that I’m so excited about—Healthier at Home! In this series I’m going to be recreating products and menu items from popular stores or restaurants so we can all enjoy them a in little bit healthier versions in our own homes. I’m kicking it off today with one of my favorite foods ever… Trader Joe’s Mandarin Orange Chicken! 🍊
You all know I make a LOT of recipes, but I have to say this has been one of my favorites this year. I still can’t even believe I was able to make a version so similar to TJs but gluten-free and paleo!! Brian couldn’t tell the difference when showed him mine and the TJs original side by side—so you know this one is the real deal.
I had so much fun making this recipe and documenting the entire process!! Leave a comment on the video—what should my next Healthier at Home remake be?! Come cook it along with me in my most recent video that just went live over on YouTube ⤵️

Thanks for the video, Jenn! It was very helpful. I made a few mistakes (the sauce was too thick), but all and all it was very good.
Oh wow!! TJ's orange chicken is a favorite, but I haven't been buying it because it's not super healthy!! Thanks Jen!!! I can't wait to try your version (with garlicky green beans)...yummmmm
