I’m grateful for the new features, Substack has been an adventure! The meal plans, planning support and recipes are all wonderful. I especially love the 30-20-10 recipes, exactly what I needed! Thanks so much for sharing your gift for process and organization. A clear road map for the week/month is super helpful!

Do you think you’ll have a category for sauces? I love the sauces/dressings I’ve tried of yours in specific recipes but would love to make a batch to have a bottle of in the fridge to drizzle on other meals. Like your bbq sauce from the stuffed sweet potato recipe or the date bbq sauce from the chickpea & bean salad. So delicious! But would love a sole recipe like the ones in your cookbook. Just a thought. I love your cookbook btw, brought me to your newsletter. I’m hooked on your recipes! Banana blondies are so yummy!

I really needed this. I actually started building my own index, but after an hour of spreadsheeting your recipes, I was burnt out and threw in the towel.

I’m an organization freak, and Substack can feel a little all over the place, so I logged in today planning to unsubscribe because it just wasn’t easy enough to navigate the recipes.

Then I discovered you made the ultimate index list. Wow, it’s perfection! I’m definitely sticking around now.

Thank you so much!

happy to have you sticking around Natalie :) we do our best to make substack work most effectively for recipe content 💕

This is great and so appreciated!! I have been living out of DTAD and can’t wait to dive in deeper to substack. S/O to the black bean tacos that I’ve already made 10x. My dachshund says hi too!

doxie club!!! so excited for you to dive into the newsletter content!

It would be so helpful to have a low carb category. As a newly diagnosed Type 1 diabetic it would save a lot of time. Love all you do to make meal planning easier.

noted!! we're working on adding in macros to the archive of meals as well, which feels like it could be another helpful resource for you!

Hi Jenn, I dont know why, but I dont seem to be able to navigate the index. I somehow dont understand the instructions for using the index in Substack or on my PC. I was wondering if it is possible for you to make a video on how to use/navigate the index in the different applications. For example if I am in Substack and use the search tool and enter Broccoli I jut seem to get previous newsletters that may contain Broccoli. I hope this makes sense. Thanks so much for your consideration.

Hi Annette, thanks for commenting! Videos are a wonderful idea! In the meantime however, I’ll try my best to explain here. Because the index page does not have a built in search bar, the best way to navigate is from your desktop. Using either command + F or control F, depending on your type of computer (and being sure to hold both buttons at the same time), will prompt a search bar to appear in the top right corner of your screen, and allow you to search for key words used in recipe titles or various categories. From there, you can scroll through various results containing your search word. If you click on a category title in the table of contents, it will take you directly to that section of the page. If using the substack app, you can scroll through the various categories manually, or if looking for a specific recipe, you can search like normal from the main homepage of the newsletter, however it will not categorize the same way as it is set up in the index. I hope this helps and please don’t hesitate to reach out to support@jenneatsgoood.com with any other questions! ☺️

I can’t thank you enough for this incredible list of recipes- so beautifully organized! I picked up your cookbook from the library after seeing Alex Snodgrass talk about it. Every recipe I’ve made has truly been a home-run. I’m feeding three kids and my husband and we’ve all been LOVING your recipes. Thank you!!!

aww thank you Melissa, this just made my day! 🫶

Love this! Makes it so much easier to find my fav recipes.

Is there a way of finding/ knowing the macros to all your recipes? I enjoy the ones that have the “macros” link, makes it so easy to know how many calories the meal has.

Thank you for all your amazing recipes!

Kate Eats Goood's avatar

hi Maria! We recently started to include macros in the prep plans and dinner plans, and our next project is adding macros to past recipes, it will take a bit to get there but we’re on it and can’t wait to share that resource once it’s ready 😊

Thank you!! Is there a way where the link takes us to the substack post? When I click, it brings me to the website that has many ads, one of the reason I enjoy my subscription as it makes it easier to read!

Jenn Lueke's avatar

thank you for this feedback! recipes featured on the newsletter are all linked in the archive as their substack post, while others we've shared in round ups and resource guides are from the website. All dinner plans, monthly prep plans, and bonus recipes link to the posts with ad-free PDFs since those are paid resources 🫶🏻 the index is free for all, so we're balancing the integrity of paid-tier features while still making it accessible for everyone 💕
