the must-make summer meal plan
get the grocery list & follow along to shop in season (plus my summer produce guide!)
Now that it’s officially summer, and we’ve made it through our first heat wave last month (a true New England summer rite of passage) it’s time to break out the most summery meal plan. We’re really throwing it all in here—sweet and juicy peaches, fresh corn, bursting cherry tomatoes—basically all the summer produce in one delicious meal plan. As always, the plan is designed to be low-waste, so you’ll see some overlapping produce and grains to make the most of your weekly shop and avoid unnecessary grocery spend. Most importantly, these are summer recipes I’m obsessed with and I know you will be too once the week is over.

If your summer produce isn’t quite there yet, bookmark this one for later! And also don’t be afraid to swap and sub in what you have, what you can buy frozen, or what you see on sale at the store. Check out the recipe notes for plenty of substitution options to make it work—the recipes (as always) are designed to be flexible!
Looking for week 2 of the July Meal Prep Plan? Everything you need—recipes, grocery list, and storage guide—is at the bottom of today’s post. Or head here.
If you’re feeling inspired to make more seasonal dishes, try out some of the recipes above to use up all the good stuff growing. To find a recipe, use the search function on our Substack homepage or on my website. Ok, now let’s get into this week’s plan!
