In case you missed it, I’m back this week with a the 11th edition of my budget grocery series!!! I seriously could not be more excited, and this week we’re making a new set of gluten-free and dairy-free recipes that I just know you’re going to love.
Today’s YouTube video takes you through everything: the entire grocery list, pantry staples, what the recipes will be, substitutions and swaps (including how to make the entire list plant-based), and more! I tried to address all of the FAQs I get!! So come grocery shopping with me and let me tell you about my thought process behind the new list + recipes so you know what to expect! All of the short-form videos will be up as usual on IG & TikTok too, but the daily YouTube videos will be PACKED with info.

Produce:
1 yellow onion
6 shallots
2 garlic bulbs
1 lb carrots (6 carrots)
8 roma tomatoes
1 cauliflower head
2 lbs sweet potatoes (6 medium potatoes)
10oz bag shredded kale
Meat & Proteins
1 lb ground pork
1 lb boneless, skinless chicken thighs
14oz block firm tofu
Canned & Packaged
12oz gluten-free fusilli (or rigatoni)
16oz quinoa (white or tricolor)
32oz low-sodium chicken broth
32oz low-sodium vegetable broth
28oz can crushed tomatoes
13.5oz can full-fat coconut milk
two 15oz cans great northern, navy, or cannellini beans
15oz can chickpeas
Pantry staples
olive oil
apple cider vinegar
coconut aminos, tamari, or reduced-sodium soy sauce
pure maple syrup
tapioca flour, arrowroot starch, or cornstarch
Spices:
kosher salt
ground black pepper
garlic powder
dried oregano
dried thyme
dried rosemary
ground sage
chili powder (optional)
