One of the reasons you might have started following me is my popular budget grocery series where I take a single grocery haul and turn it into five healthy dinner recipes for the week. Well, I’m so excited to tell you we have a BRAND NEW installment of the series coming this week! I’ve been putting so much time into this behind the scenes and I can’t wait to share everything with you—it’s going to be so fun!
If you’re new here and you don’t know what I’m talking about, head to the grocery series section of my website or you can find all of the past series on this post that I keep pinned on our Substack homepage. The reason I started doing these series back in January 2023 is because I felt like there was something missing in the conversation about healthy food on social media. Food and money are SO closely intertwined, and it’s impossible to have productive conversations about health and wellness without having conversations about the very real impact that privilege, money, and access to food have on someone’s ability to eat well.
Among other things—like saving you time and energy in the kitchen while eating delicious, nourishing food—helping you cut down food costs is a key principle of my content. With a little bit of planning, strategically choosing some budget-friendly ingredients, and consistently utilizing similar pantry staples, it’s possible to eat exciting, tasty, and nutritious meals at a lower cost. Now, I’m giving you the tools so you don’t have to do any of the planning!
I always have so much fun making these lists and turning them into out-of-the-box, tasty, and nutritious recipes. It makes me so happy to share them with you and help you cut down your grocery costs or just eat some delicious meals!!
Now, I’m sharing the FULL GROCERY LIST with you below that I’ll be using this week + ALL OF THE RECIPES we’re going to be making ahead of time. I hope you follow along by grabbing the ingredients this weekend, and if you want to get a head start on cooking you can now do that too!
