Could you use regular flour instead of almond and coconut? We’re not gf and I have flour already so just curious! :)

Question for anyone who is not gluten-free: when you swap wheat flour for almond flour do you change the amount. The biscuit recipe calls for a total of 2 cups flour - I tried 2 cups of wheat flour but as it’s my first time making these - I’m not sure about the density / consistency of mine.

Hi Sherry! I personally haven't tested these with a different flour, but lots of non-gluten free followers have swapped the almond flour for regular all-purpose flour with no issues! Wheat flour may be too dense to use as a 1:1 swap, if you're not GF I would recommend trying it out first with regular all purpose or supplementing with additional liquid😊

Thanks Jenn. I should clarify that I did mean white all purpose flour.

Hi Jenn! New subscriber and loving everything so far. I wondered for the chicken jalapeno recipe if you had any ideas to "mix up" the flavours, e.g. turkey and something else? I want to keep making them!

Hi Natasha! Great question, I actually have a few different varieties of the biscuits on my site if you’re looking for more ideas! swapping for ground turkey would be an easy sub, just make sure to drain as much excess liquid as you can before adding it in! https://jenneatsgoood.com/?s=biscuits
